About the role
The client is a leading e-commerce agency in Spain, specializing in working with mid-sized and enterprise-level businesses in Spain and Europe.
As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Tech Lead, you will play an important role in the organization as a member of a dedicated squad responsible for delivering services to a diverse range of SalesforceΒ Commerce Cloud projects.Β
The client's Salesforce Commerce Cloud portfolio includes renowned brands in the motorcycle parts and accessories industry, as well as in fashion and beauty industries.
Responsibilities
- π Technical definition of project requirements.
- π Creation of project technical documentation.
- π Estimation of time and resources for each technical task.
- π Lead and manage the technical implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud projects.
- π Ensure the implementation quality of projects by conducting manual code reviews and ensuring the implementation of best practices.
- π Ensure successful deployments to development, staging, and production environments.
- π Collaborate closely with project managers to understand client needs and requirements and define the proper technical aspects of different development tasks.
- π Act as a technical liaison between clients and non-technical roles, providing explanations of technical solutions and implementations as required.
- π Manage the project's technical team and assist project managers with task assignments.
- π Mentor, counsel, and advise the technical team members.
- π Participate in the development of complex and high-level functionalities.
Requirements
- β
Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent.
- β
4-5 years of experience developing with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (formerly known as Demandware).
- β
Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development.
- β
Deep knowledge of GIT and version control systems.
- β
Experience with integrations, data migration, and third-party systems integration.
- β
Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud technologies, including SiteGenesis, controllers, pipelines, scripts, and cartridges.
- β
Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts, architecture, and best practices.
- β
Proven experience leading technical teams and driving successful project delivery.
- β
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within project timelines.
- β
Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- β
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- β
Experience using task tracking and requirement tracking tools such as Jira is preferred.
Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification is required.
Nice to Have
- π Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification.
- π Working knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment and test automation
- π Familiarity with Docker.
